After growing up in small town Texas, I made the move to study architecture in the crushing cold of upstate New York. I've always loved writing, designing and creating, so this is the best outlet to do and share what I love.

Starting Summer 2020, The Type has expanded with the addition of Mighty Merch, an online design shop. Daniell Morales, partner in business and life, has joined the site as chief seamstress and collection co-designer.
